Using ‘Enriched Air’ or ’Nitrox’ also sometimes called ’EANx’ is a great way to extend your bottom times without going into decompression especially on repetitive daily dives. As well as gaining longer no decompression limits, using enriched air nitrox also results in a reduced decompression penalty due to the lower level of nitrogen absorbed during the dive and shorter surface intervals and longer subsequent dives due to the lower residual nitrogen levels following a dive.
Divers on our most popular ‘Sunrise’ package and on the ‘Tek’ plan get free enriched air nitrox back gas on all suitable dives all week.
Onboard we have 2 Oxygen Generators producing 960 cu ft of oxygen a day and 2 Oxygen Booster pumps meaning we have plenty of oxygen for onboard fills and because we employ partial pressure blending we can supply any mix from 22-95% oxygen.
If you are not already enriched air nitrox certified we offer the PADI Enriched Air Diver course which is PADI’s most popular specialty course. During the course you will learn techniques for getting more dive time by using enriched air nitrox, diving equipment considerations and other enriched air considerations, including managing oxygen exposure, how to analyse the gas in your diving cylinder and how to set your dive computer for use with enriched air nitrox.
