Hello divers and others, we wish to bring latest info with hopeful progressions toward a restart of diving operations from aboard good ship, ‘THORFINN’. Leading statistics indicate gradual global reductions of new viral cases in most areas, save a few still tangled in rhetoric to safely secure their people. It appears permissible levels may be reached by this year-end providing no further variants appear.
After a peculiar inter-govt labor disruption lasting several years followed by 2 further years of viral pandemic total closures, we have certain tasks upon travel restorations for our critically needed Filipino service staff to return and set certain facilities back into full service. Our local staff have worked diligently in maintaining outer appearances and accommodations, but technicians need return for full equipment servicing, requiring approx 2 months to perform once able to re-board the ship.
Shortly after travel gates open, we plan to accept anxious divers willing to resume diving our wonders within soon to be announced economies of discounted fares during restorations aboard.
The ship will be anchored centrally at the lagoon’s finest dive sites within minutes to reach and explore the greatest attractions from this big liveaboard dive station.
The system planned to deploy, will permit any numbers of arrival/departures at times suiting their personal travel plans and connections. 7 day minimum fares will continue with pro-rated daily extensions available at time of each booking.
More details on these aspects will be issued soonest we can determine a near ending to this Pandemic period.
Thanking everyone for their patience throughout this crisis to us all,
Lance, Capt
SS THORFINN
