Wreck Diving
Two dive service areas eliminate congestion, providing each diving group with convenient systems of gear handling. Rinse tanks, deck showers, fresh towels and gear bins add to this facility. -
Truk History
In 1944, US forces amassed a huge armada for a major surprise attack against the Japanese at Truk - operation Hailstone. It lasted for 3 days and was one of the most successful engagements of WWII. -
Diving Conditions
At Truk, this ship introduced the ability to continuously dive on wrecks located close to various anchorages. Dive launches depart regularly from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and conduct night dives about 8:30 PM. -
Wreck Map
Over 70 dive sites, most of them ships, are to be found within the confines of Truk Lagoon, making it the wreck diving capital of the world. Most sit in their defined anchorages - the Fourth Fleet, the Sixth Fleet or the Repair Anchorages, - which covers an area of less than 20 sq miles.
